OpenListing is a free community marketplace for Jehovah's Witnesses. We keep things simple and transparent.
When you sign in with Google, we store your name, email, and Google ID. You may optionally provide a phone number, city, and congregation info during onboarding.
Listings you create store the title, description, photos, price, and address you enter. For classifieds, we also store your name, email, and phone at the time of posting.
We use two types of cookies:
__Host-ol-user): keeps you logged in for up to 30 days. Strictly necessary — the site doesn't work without it.__Host-ol-oauth-state, __Host-ol-returnto): temporary cookies set during Google sign-in, deleted after a few minutes.All cookies are HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax, and scoped to this domain. We don't use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.
Your data is used only to operate the marketplace: display listings, connect buyers with sellers, and manage approvals. We don't sell, share, or rent your data to anyone.
Listing photos, title, description, price, and address are visible to anyone with the link. Your name, email, and phone are only shown to signed-in members who have been approved.
Your account and listings stay until you delete them or request removal. Expired listings are automatically purged after 90 days.
